25th Reunion Gift

Thank you Class of '81 for helping us reach an amazing final total of $393,346 for our 25th Reunion gift to Carleton!!!. We also had an excellent participation rate of well over 50% of our class. Thank you everyone for your very generous contributions!!!

A thank you postcard, which includes our class photo and some Reunion photos, was sent to all those who contributed to the class gift.

Thank you also to those who chaired and served on the 25th Reunion Gift Committee. We couldn't have done it without you! The College will benefit in many ways from your efforts and from the Class of '81 25th Reunion gift.

Contributing to the Alumni Annual Fund for our 25th Reunion

The 25th Reunion is a great opportunity to give something back to Carleton. Our class gift is crucial to Carleton. Alumni gifts ensure access to the Carleton experience for students who, like many of us, could not have otherwise considered Carleton. Make a difference by making a special gift to the Alumni Annual Fund in honor of our 25th Reunion. Your gift in any amount is greatly appreciated, it truly makes a difference, and it boosts our class participation level.

Tuition covers only two-thirds of the cost of a Carleton education.

Our 25th Reunion Gift goal is $400,000 which is approximately five times our regular goal.

Some great news: This year's U.S. News and World Report puts Carleton in 5th place on the Best Liberal Arts Colleges list. And Carleton is No.1! in the Alumni Giving category, a measure of participation. Congratulations to everyone who has given to the Alumni Annual Fund. You do make a difference!

We will keep you posted of progress towards our goal right up until reunion time, but we hope that you can help us reach the goal well ahead of Reunion.

Planned Giving / Heywood Society

Planned giving is another way to make an impact on Carleton, and there are numerous ways to do so. Click on the link to find out more about the different ways that you can contribute.

Planned gifts don't count toward our 25th giving goal (we have to wait for our 50th Reunion - in 2031! - for that to happen), but part of every Reunion is a very elegant luncheon in Great Hall for all members of the Heywood Society that have made arrangements for planned gifts. There are only a handful of members so far from the class of '81, so let's try to make an impact on the college through a surge in membership this year by our class. Becoming a member can be as simple as notifying the College that you have made a provision in your will for Carleton. Click here for more details on the Heywood Society.
